Last updated: May 23, 2026

SlipCase is a local-first document wallet for iPhone. This Privacy Policy explains how SlipCase handles documents, scans, OCR text, subscriptions, and app settings.

Summary: SlipCase does not operate a developer server, does not use analytics or advertising SDKs, and does not upload your documents to us. Your documents stay on your device and, when iCloud is available, in your private iCloud database.

1. Information SlipCase Handles

2. iCloud Sync

SlipCase uses Apple CloudKit private database sync for documents, pages, folders, and tags when iCloud is available for your Apple ID. This means:

3. Data Sharing

SlipCase does not sell personal information and does not share your documents with third parties. The app does not include third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs.

Apple may process information needed to provide App Store purchases, iCloud, and system services. Those services are governed by Apple's terms and privacy policy.

4. Data Security

5. Data Deletion

You can delete individual documents in the app or clear all documents from Settings. Deletions also apply to synced iCloud private database records when iCloud sync is active. Uninstalling the app removes local app data from the device.

6. Your Choices

You can manage camera, photo library, Face ID, and iCloud permissions in iOS Settings. Turning off a permission may disable related features, but it does not give the developer access to your saved documents.

7. Children

SlipCase is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as SlipCase changes. Updates will be posted on this page with a new update date. If the app's data handling changes materially, we will also update App Store information where required.
